E. Jakarta Accelerates Street Vendor Arrangement in KBT

East Jakarta Administration is about to arrange street vendors who open stall around East Flood Canal (KBT). The way is by conducting arrangement and applying auto debet system.

All must be done in three months

“We’ve checked the location and been discussed. Thus far, a design for trading site is still being made by Micro Small and Medium Cooperative Enterprises Sub-Department (KUMKMP),” said East Jakarta Deputy Mayor, Husein Murad, Tuesday (8/25).

KBT will Be Transformed Into Culinary Tour Site

According to Murad, it aims to make vendors and buyers more orderly. “We will prepare a new place to the vendors,” he uttered.

Thus far, the team is currently finalizing such plan, but the place is probably not permanent. "It's like a mobile tent and can be folded,” he told.

He added if there is already new arrangement, the retribution with Bank DKI's auto debet system can be withdrawn. “ All must be done in three months ,” he finished.
